Da sapere su questa attività
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Bucharest. You will start on a beautiful journey to Sinaia, our most popular mountain resort known as "The Pearl of the Carpathians”. Here you will visit Peles Castle. This is the summer residence of our royal family. It is a jewel of a palace that is joyful, sophisticated and surrounded by lush gardens and rich nature. According to many, this palace alone is worth a visit to Romania, and it is certainly one of the most beautiful buildings you will see.
Next, you will get acquainted with Dracula’s legend as you visit Bran Castle, built in the 14th century as a military fortress protecting Transylvania. This is a medieval castle that will impress you with its gloomy atmosphere and its bloody stories of Vlad the Impaler, also known as Count Dracula. This is where Bram Stoker got his inspiration for his novel, Dracula. Your guide will tell you the history, stories and legacy surrounding the castle. Afterwards, you can enjoy the outdoor markets, where locals sell delicious homemade foods, traditional popular clothes and artisan souvenirs.
To finish off your day, your guide will take you on an enjoyable walking tour of Brasov’s historical centre. Brasov is a 800 year old fortified Saxon town where you will experience the typical Romanian atmosphere that makes the country unforgettable. Depending on your preferences, you will visit the Black Church, the largest church in Eastern Europe, you will walk on the Rope Street, one of Europe’s narrowest streets, and enjoy a rustic lunch in one of our most rustic cities.
In the evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel or chosen location, rich in memories and joyful after a day well lived.
