close to the Mosque you will visit the museum of John Gayer-Anderson, a British major and army doctor who received special permission from the Egyptian authorities to reside in one of the sixteenth century unique houses. this house is a beautiful example of the traditional old houses in Egypt and its name is house of Kretlia and it contains the original furniture f the house in addition to the unique pieces and collection of Gayer Anderson.
