In the early morning, you will head to Shanghai Pudong Airport and take the prearranged flight to Xi’an by yourself. The round-trip flights will be sent to you before the tour, you will arrange and pay Shanghai airport transportation by yourself, private guide and transfer service are only included in Xi’an.

You expert tour guide waits for you at the exit of Xi’an airport. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the first stop in comfortable private vehicle. Listen to your guide’s introduction of ancient capital Xi’an and histories of Qin Dynasty on the way to the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum – the landmark on all visitors' itinerary. Explore all three pits and admire altogether 7,000 life-size pottery soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons arranged in battle formations symbolically, guarding the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

Have a short break for lunch in well-selected restaurant and enjoy the local food. Then continue your Xi’an sightseeing in the downtown area. You will visit Xi’an ancient City Wall and the Muslim Quarter in the afternoon. Adorned with a moat and the circular Park, the City Wall is one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world, you may rent a bike at your own expense, cycling along the wall to have an interesting experience. Then stroll around the hub of the Muslim community in Xian city – the Muslim Quarter, taste the mouthwatering local snacks and see very interesting souvenirs.

To conclude the day trip, your guide and driver will transfer you to Xi’an Airport to catch the return flight to Shanghai. Please make your own transportation in Shanghai. The long day but truly memorable Xi’an trip ends here.
